Falafel RushFalafel Rush Privacy Policy
In short: Falafel Rush keeps your progress on your phone. To find crashes and see which levels are too hard, the game sends anonymous usage and crash data to Google Firebase. Version 1.0 has no ads and no in-app purchases. The game does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or location, and we never sell data. If you join the launch waitlist on this website, we keep your email only to tell you when the game is out (section 12).
1. Who we are
Falafel Rush is made by the Falafel Rush team, based in Amman, Jordan ("we", "us"). We decide how the data described here is used. Contact: support@falafelrush.fun.
2. What stays on your phone
Your game progress (levels, stars, coins, upgrades, settings such as language and sound) is saved only on your device. We cannot see it. The game also creates a random "Support ID" (shown in Settings) so you can quote it if you contact us. It is not linked to your name or phone number. If you use "Share my shift", the game makes a picture and hands it to your phone's own share menu; we do not receive it.
3. What is sent, and why
The game uses two Google Firebase services. They start after the first screen and do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or the Android advertising ID.

The game may also ask Firebase for updated game settings (for example level tuning). That request uses the same random installation ID and sends no personal details. All data travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
Google processes this data for us as a service provider under the Firebase data processing terms. Google may store it on servers outside your country. See also Privacy and Security in Firebase.
4. What we do not do
- No ads and no in-app purchases in version 1.0.
- No accounts, no chat, no messages between players.
- We do not sell or rent data, and we do not share it with anyone except Google as our service provider, or when the law requires it.
5. Future updates
We plan to add optional rewarded ads and in-app purchases in a later update. Before any update with ads or purchases goes live, we will update this policy to explain what changes (for example ad partners and purchase records), change the date above, and show a consent message in the game where the law requires it.
We also plan to add GameAnalytics, a game-analytics service, next to Firebase to see which levels are too hard. Version 1.0 does not send anything to GameAnalytics. Before it is switched on, we will add it to the table in section 3 with the data it receives and how long it is kept.
6. Children
Falafel Rush is a general-audience game for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent and think your child under 13 has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
7. Your choices and rights
- Delete everything on your phone: uninstall the game, or clear its storage in Android Settings > Apps > Falafel Rush. This deletes your save and resets the random IDs, so new data cannot be linked to old data.
- Ask us to delete data: email support@falafelrush.fun with the subject "Delete my data" and your Support ID from Settings. We will delete the data we can link to it from Firebase within 30 days and confirm by email. Because we collect no names or emails, we may not be able to find data without the Support ID. Data also expires automatically (see the table).
- Access, correction, objection: you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or object to its use, by the same email. We answer within 30 days.
8. Legal basis (Jordan PDPL, EU/UK GDPR)
We follow Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023 and, for players in the European Economic Area and the UK, the GDPR. We use crash data and game analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the game working and improving it, with the safeguards above (random IDs, no names, short retention). Where the law requires your consent, we will ask for it in the game, and you can withdraw it at any time. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, contact us first; you can also complain to your local data protection authority (in Jordan, the Personal Data Protection Council; in the EU, your national supervisory authority).
9. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored by Google with its security controls. Only the developer can open the Firebase console, and the account is protected by two-step verification.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. Important changes (such as adding ads or purchases) will also be announced in the game's release notes before they take effect.
11. This website
falafelrush.fun uses no cookies, no analytics and no ads. Its fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers. Our web host (Railway) keeps standard server logs (IP address, page, time and browser type) to run and protect the site. Share and challenge links (falafelrush.fun/s/… and /c/…) only pass their short code on to the game or to Google Play. If you arrive through a friend's waitlist link (?ref=…) or join the waitlist, your browser keeps that short code in its own local storage (not a cookie) so it can show your share link again. It is never sent anywhere except with a waitlist sign-up. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
12. The launch waitlist
You can leave your email on this website to hear when Falafel Rush comes out. Joining is optional and needs you to tick the consent box.

- Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time; that does not affect anything done before.
- What we send: launch and pre-registration news only. No newsletters, and we never sell, rent or share your email for advertising.
- How long: until 6 months after the game launches, then we delete the list. If you unsubscribe earlier, we delete your email straight away.
- Unsubscribe or delete: use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or email support@falafelrush.fun from the same address with the subject "Delete my email". We delete it within 30 days (the link works immediately).
- Who processes it: Railway (our web host) stores the list in its database for us. Before we send any email we will name the email-sending service here. Railway's servers may be outside your country; we rely on its standard contractual safeguards.
- Children: please do not join the waitlist if you are under 13.
